I am a daughter, wife, mother, sister, attorney, author, consultant, friend, advocate, fledgling cook, persistent reader, champion for joy, battler of schedules and stress, and a warrior in the midst of fear, fragility and social media feeds. In each of these, I have learned love is the highest and hardest calling. Whether it’s in a Fortune 100 boardroom, a comfy chair with a weeping child, or in a bathroom thinking I have a moment alone just as a familiar face walks in with a request, power stance or just a need to be with – we have the wondrous ability to manifest our best life. We do so together. It happens when we are standing near and still, in huddled masses cheering, aching or solving, and when we leave each other’s presence feeling better, stronger and assured of all that is beautifully possible.
